Christmas was really great this year. Although it didn’t feel like Christmas at all, which makes me sad. Spending time with my family was actually quite enjoyable. My nephew isn’t into the whole unwrapping gifts thing. In fact, he hates it. Nor did he play with the toys he got. He played with a cardboard box which cracked me up. After “dinner” and spending more time with one another, my sister, nephew, and brother in law went home. My mom and I cleaned up. Then, I spent nearly 3 hours putting songs on my iPod. Then, the best part of all: I spent time with (nearly) all my best friends last night. It was perfect…even if Matt was a jerk some of the time. At least I got a bit of a kiss from him. AND Nathan kissed me too. WTH? Now that I think about it, Ellen is the only one I didn’t get a kiss from last night. Odd. Like I said, this year was nearly perfect.
Also: Thank you, “Colorblind” by Counting Crows for allowing me to cry for more than 3 seconds in over a year.
